Elm Street, Suite 101 Denton, TX 76201 m1services.com Job Summary: M1 is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic I - Electrical and Environmental Backshop who will conduct daily aircraft electro-environmental operations as required. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Assists with troubleshooting malfunctions in aircraft electrical systems. * Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft electrical systems, such as LRU Component removal/installation. * Sound knowledge of all associated electrical system support equipment. * Reads and interprets manufacturers and aircraft's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. * Performs periodic and other hourly or calendar inspections as required. * Required to adjust, replace and repair worn or damaged electrical components, test equipment and aircraft accessories. * Receives technical guidance from managers, supervisors, leads, and higher-level technicians as required. * May be required to obtain and maintain special certifications required by AFI as directed by management. * Reviews and completes forms documentation pertinent to aircraft or equipment maintenance, enters maintenance actions into applicable MIS system and will make entries in forms, logs, records, or electronic equivalent as required. * May be required to assist with writing/initiating engineer technical assistance requests. * Completes all assignments and tasks as directed by managers, supervisors, and leads and more senior technicians. Qualifications and Experience: * High school diploma or GED is required. Mathematics skills are desirable * Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions in the same language. * Must be willing to deploy to support off-station requirements. Start Date 03/01/2026 Contract NAMSS Salary Range $48.17/Hour Posting Date 02/19/2026 Union Yes FLSA Status Non-Exempt Shift Work Possible FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible Page 2 of 2 * Performs housekeeping duties within 100 feet of assigned work areas (excluding bathrooms). * Performs vehicle use inspections, cleaning, and wash. * Performs any other supportive duties as assigned. * Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher, if required). * Must be able to, if required, obtain, and maintain a government driver's license. If controlled movement area (CMA) access is required must be able to pass color vision test * May be required to work in other work sections throughout the contract. Working Conditions: * Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties. * Environment ranges from office, hangar and flightline and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
