Elm Street, Suite 101 Denton, TX 76201 m1services.com Job Summary: M1 is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic I - Hydraulics who will conduct daily Hydraulic shop operations including testing and overhaul of hydraulic components. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Assists with troubleshooting. * Maintains, services, and inspects aircraft hydraulics systems, components, and related support equipment. * Removes, installs, and conducts functional tests of repaired aircraft systems and components. * Required to adjust, align, and rig aircraft components. Inspects and identifies aircraft components for corrosion prevention and repair. * Reads and interprets manufacturers and aircraft's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. * Performs periodic and other hourly or calendar inspections as required. * Receives technical guidance from Managers, Supervisors, Leads or higher-level technicians as required. * May be required to aid writing/initiating engineering technical assistance requests. * May be required to obtain and maintain special certifications required by AFI as directed by management. * Reviews and completes forms documentation pertinent to aircraft or equipment maintenance, enters maintenance actions into applicable MIS system and will make entries in forms, logs, records, or electronic equivalent as required. * Strict adherence to aircraft technical data is required. * Complete all assignments and tasks as directed by managers, supervisors, leads, and more senior technicians. Qualifications and Experience: * High school diploma or GED is required. Mathematics skills are desirable * Minimum of 4 years performing hydraulic system repair on USAF or sister service fighter aircraft including 1 year back shop hydraulic experience rebuilding strut components, brakes, valves, actuators, and accumulators. Working knowledge of MIS systems and forms documentation. Start Date 03/01/2026 Contract NAMSS Salary Range $48.17/Hour Posting Date 02/19/2026 Union Yes FLSA Status Non-Exempt Shift Work Possible FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible Page 2 of 2 * Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions in the same language. * Must be willing to deploy to support off-station requirements. * Performs housekeeping duties within 100 feet of assigned work areas (excluding bathrooms). * Performs vehicle use inspections, cleaning, and wash. * Performs any other supportive duties as assigned. * Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher, if required). * Must be able to, if required, obtain, and maintain a government driver's license. If controlled movement area (CMA) access is required must be able to pass color vision test. * May be required to work in other work sections throughout the contract Working Conditions: * Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties. * Environment ranges from office, hangar and flightline and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
