Elm Street, Suite 101 Denton, TX 76201 m1services.com Job Summary: M1 is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic III - Electrical and Environmental Backshop who will conduct daily aircraft electro-environmental operations as required. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft electrical systems. * Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft electrical systems, such as LRU Component removal/installation. * Extensive knowledge of all associated electrical system support equipment. * Reads and interprets manufacturers and aircraft's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. * Performs periodic and other hourly or calendar inspections as required. * Required to adjust, replace and repair worn or damaged electrical components, test equipment and aircraft accessories. * Receives technical guidance from managers, supervisors, and leads, and provides technical guidance to lower-level technicians as required. * Will be required to obtain and maintain special certifications required by AFI as directed by management. * Reviews and completes forms documentation pertinent to aircraft or equipment maintenance, enters maintenance actions into applicable MIS system and will make entries in forms, logs, records, or electronic equivalent as required. * Will be required to monitor and lead teams to perform more complex aircraft inspections and repairs. * Will be required to write/initiate engineering technical assistance requests. * Complete all assignments and tasks as directed by managers, supervisors, and leads. Qualifications and Experience: * High school diploma or GED is required. Mathematics skills are desirable. * Minimum of 8 years performing as a USAF or sister service fighter aircraft Electro-Environmental System technician including 3 years of experience with A-10, F-15, F-16, F-22, F-35 or LOX/GOX cart troubleshooting / repair. Start Date 03/01/2026 Contract NAMSS Salary Range $52.07/Hour Posting Date 02/19/2026 Union Yes FLSA Status Non-Exempt Shift Work Possible FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible Page 2 of 2 * Complete working knowledge of MIS systems, forms documentation and strict adherence to aircraft technical data is required. * All electro-environmental personnel must be able to pass a color vision test. * Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions in the same language. * Must be willing to deploy to support off-station requirements. * Performs housekeeping duties within 100 feet of assigned work areas (excluding bathrooms). Performs vehicle use inspections, cleaning, and wash. * Performs any other supportive duties as assigned. * Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher, if required). * Must be able to, if required, obtain, and maintain a government driver's license. If controlled movement area (CMA) access is required must be able to pass color vision test * May be required to work in other work sections throughout the contract. Working Conditions: * Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties. * Environment ranges from office, hangar and flightline and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
