Job Title: Banking Payments Operations Analyst - Lockbox

Location: Brooklyn, OH 44144

Duration 12+ months



Pay Range: $28/hr. - $30/hr.



Position Summary

The Operations Analyst supports multiple functions and processes within Lockbox in Payment and Deposit Operations, with a primary focus on partnering with Service and Support teams in procedure development, application testing, and script creation for operational testing.

In this role, you will develop deep industry expertise and detailed product knowledge while driving execution of key strategic and process improvement initiatives.



Key Responsibilities

Operational & Application Support



  • Provide operational support for Lockbox applications and additional systems as assigned.
  • Serve as first line of contact for user-reported inquiries and issues.
  • Perform problem reporting, tracking, resolution, root cause analysis, and identification of preventative measures.
  • Deliver high-quality support and service to internal and external partners and clients.
  • Play a leadership role in ongoing production support of Payment and Deposit Operations applications and processes.


Procedure Development & Testing



  • Create, edit, and test application and operational procedures for Lockbox Operations and Support.
  • Write and execute test scripts for operational testing of applications, particularly in process improvement initiatives.
  • Actively participate in and guide Lockbox-related systems and process initiatives and projects.


Business & Data Analysis



  • Perform business analysis for payment and deposit applications, which may include mainframe, PC, distributed systems, databases, and web-based applications.
  • Mine data from primary and secondary sources using complex joins across multiple datasets.
  • Analyze qualitative, operational, and financial data to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements to Technology partners and convert technical materials into clear, actionable information for Loan, Payment, and Operational Services process areas and Lines of Business.

Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ideally 2+ years of experience in an operational or support environment.
  • Strong attention to detail in documenting and implementing requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage change effectively.
  • Strong aptitude for technology-based tools and databases (e.g., Excel, Access).
  • Ability to quickly assimilate and synthesize new information.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.



Preferred Qualifications



  • 1-2 years of experience as an Operational Analyst.
  • Technical proficiency with Windows systems and software.
  • Advanced experience in Excel and Jira, including managing large datasets, creating pivot tables, and developing data visualizations.
