Buyer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Creates purchase orders for materials through Visual MFG (ERP).
* Places and tracks purchase orders with suppliers.
* Monitors inventory levels in the warehouse and in transit.
* Seeks the best Quality-Service-Price ratio among supplier options.
* Negotiates prices and delivery times with suppliers based on NMT's needs.
* Develops, maintains, and shares supplier performance metrics.
* Assists with material receiving as needed.
* Takes on goals, objectives, and projects that contribute to NMT's development.
* Meets with suppliers to follow up on the on-time delivery of materials.
* Maintains open and constant communication with suppliers.
* Maintains documentation in accordance with NMT's Quality system.
* Manages the logistics of material delivery from the supplier to NMT.
* Supports the development of new projects as required by the business.
* Manages material purchasing in accordance with the SOP.
* Supports internal and external audits.

Qualifications and Experience
* Advanced English.
* Advanced Excel.
* 1-2 years of experience in Purchasing.
* 1 year of experience in Logistics.
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
