Facilities Manager - Onsite (Lake Bluff, IL) Workplace Type: Onsite (100% in person) Location: Lake Bluff, IL 60044 Placement Type: ContracttoHire Duration: 4 months (likely extension; conversion expected) Category: Office / Administrative Contract Pay Rate: $32/hr (W2) Job Title: Facilities Manager Overview We are seeking an onsite Facilities Manager to oversee daily building operations, manage vendors, coordinate maintenance and security activities, and support overall corporate office functionality. This role ensures the physical workspace is safe, compliant, and operating at peak efficiency. Key Responsibilities * Manage daytoday facility operations in alignment with organizational objectives. * Evaluate, track, and resolve all maintenance, operational, and security requests. * Review facility processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and safety. * Ensure security vendor adherence to policies, procedures, and safety protocols. * Manage construction and renovation projects, both large and small. * Develop and maintain procedure manuals and process documentation. * Serve as primary liaison between company and landlord; ensure lease compliance. * Oversee vendor relationships, including negotiating pricing and service agreements. * Ensure building standards, cleanliness, and operational readiness. * Collaborate with internal teams and external customers for issue resolution. * Interpret policy changes and establish updated operational procedures. * Provide technical guidance as needed. * Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned. Required Qualifications * High School Diploma required * 1+ year healthcare call center or healthcare admin experience preferred * Strong customer service and operations support background * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general Windows-based systems * Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Preferred Qualifications * Healthcare facilities or medical office experience * Previous experience in facilities management, building operations, or vendor oversight Compensation * Contract Rate: $32/hr (W2 through TEKsystems) * Permanent Conversion: Expected to convert full-time at around* $100,000 annual salary, pending performance and business need.
