Assistant / Associate / Full Clinical Professor - Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Assistant / Associate / Full Clinical Professor - Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Hiring Department: Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Location: Chicago, IL USA Requisition ID: 1039331 Posting Close Date: March 20, 2026 Salary: The salary ranges for the two positions are as follows: $80,000 to $110,000/yr for the Assistant Professor level, $110,000 to $130,000/yr for the Associate Professor level, and $130,000 to $150,000/yr for the Full Professor level, all on a 9-month service basis. Final salary offered will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications and budget constraints. Position Summary Clinical faculty members to teach relevant courses, provide service to the department and University, students and industry. Duties & Responsibilities Minimum Qualifications A Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required for this position. Also requires a minimum of one-year of experience teaching university-level courses in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
