Job Description
Typical duties may include but are not limited to:
Advises and coaches students one-on-one and in group settings on topics including but not limited to internship exploration and planning, search and application strategies, documentation and internship course enrollment, professional skills development, career transition topics, and post-experience reflection. Serves as a liaison between employers seeking or supervising interns and one or more designated academic departments. Collaborates with faculty and academic advisors to promote upcoming career events, coordinate class presentations, and to provide support to academic internship programs. Plans and executes workshops, online orientations, special events, and career fairs related to internships. Consults with specific academic disciplines to provide internship coaching and career management guidance as it pertains to applying to internships and exploring through work-based learning opportunities. Stays current on trends, resources, research, and employer recruitment activities that impact student employability. Manages the internship approval process as well as the database of internships and employer opportunities. Contributes to additional office and department-wide initiatives and programs as assigned.

This position requires four years of directly related full-time experience or, as an alternative, a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization.
