The Internal Collaboration team builds software to share data, apps, and AI models across different business units, regions, and clouds within a single organization-without moving or copying the data. The team builds the Internal Marketplace as a data product storefront for our users.

AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER - INTERNAL COLLABORATION YOU WILL:
  • Lead highly impactful initiatives around Snowflake Data Collaboration and Internal Marketplace

  • Innovate and build highly secured and reliable software to allow customers to be data-driven.

  • Architect and build systems that enable our customers to manage every critical aspect of the data product lifecycle, including curation, discovery, governance, policy configurations, certification, publishing, observability.

  • Design and implement highly available distributed platforms within the global Snowflake.

  • Revolutionize how organizations distribute, consume, and use data as a strategic business asset.

  • Ensure operational readiness of the services and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability, availability and performance.

OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER - INTERNAL COLLABORATION, WILL HAVE:
  • 7+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting large-scale applications and distributed systems in production.

  • Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or C++ with an emphasis on performance and reliability.

  • Experience with AI-driven/first software development

  • Experience building cloud applications and working with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Deep understanding of distributed transaction processing, concurrency control, and high-performance query engines.

  • Familiarity with Marketplace applications and product lifecycle management

  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and access control models in distributed data systems.

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $200,000 - $287,500.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
