The Inside Sales Construction Representative handles and closes inbound calls on temporary roll-off placement, and serves as support to assist the Construction Specialists with meeting or exceeding quarterly goals.

Responsibilities of Position:



  • Handle and close inbound calls on temporary roll-off placement for open tops (OT) ,1-shot deals, and portable toilets (PT) to help drive temporary (T) revenue growth.
  • Support Construction Specialists in meeting and/or exceeding their quarterly temporary business goal
  • Sell portable toilet services where and if applicable.
  • Serve as administrative support to sales staff
  • Develop and maintain weekly call activity and ensure all opportunities are loaded into appropriate tracking/reporting system
  • Research and provide market intelligence (competition, pricing, segment recommendations)
  • Resolve service escalations within the market for temporary (T) accounts
  • Communicate rates, fees and service strategies with consideration for market margin goals
  • Assist with mailing campaigns, when applicable, for budgeted sales campaigns
  • Distribute leads to other reps within the sales organization (Commission Reps, Account Development Specialists, Recycling Specialists, etc.)
  • Serve as a back-up for other roles when needed
  • Other duties as assigned



Supervisory Responsibility:



  • This position will not manage employees

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Ability to perform tasks in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies



Experience & Knowledge Needed for Position:



  • Previous experience in Inside Sales, Sales Support, Administrative Assistance, or similar experience preferred
  • Waste and recycling industry experience preferred



Physical Requirements in a Regular Workday:



  • Rarely lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 10 lbs
  • Rarely stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling
  • Continuously sitting in an office environment
  • Frequently standing/walking in an office environment



Additional Working Conditions/Aspects:



  • Ability to travel between offices, as required
  • Ability to work flexible hours; expected to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable)
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language
