Overview

The Business Analytics & Insights Leader is responsible for building the data, telemetry, and insight engine that powers decision making across CoreAI. This role owns the end-to-end analytics foundation-from instrumentation to business reviews-and enables senior leaders to operate with clarity, predictability, and speed.

This leader will also manage our portfolio shaping process, providing clear visibility into our four operating modes-startup, grow, optimize, and deprecate so leaders can make decisions about the business. They will drive the automation of core analytics processes, including the Oracle implementation to increase accuracy, reduce manual efforts, and provide real time visibility.

This leader will run the monthly people and finance metrics reviews to share a consistent, fact-based view of Financial performance, org health, Productivity, Efficiency, and Growth.The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with deep analytical rigor, strong product intuition, and an operator's mindset.



Responsibilities

Build End-to-end Telemetry Across CoreAI

    • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive telemetry spanning product, customer, people, productivity, growth, and financial data.
    • Create standardized definitions, metrics, and visibility mechanisms that enable faster, fact-based decisions.
    • Partner with Product, Engineering efficiency, Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure consistent instrumentation and data quality across workflows.

Lead the Portfolio Shaping & Operating Modes Framework

  • Own the CoreAI portfolio shaping process, providing clear visibility into our four operating modes-Startup, Grow, Optimize, Deprecate.
  • Build dashboards and narratives that help leaders understand resourcing, maturity levels, performance, and strategic alignment.
  • Drive cross functional portfolio shaping reviews that guide investment decisions and ensure work is sequenced against company priorities.

Drive Automation of Core Analytics Processes

  • Lead automation of critical analytics workflows to increase accuracy, reduce operational overhead, and scale insights access.
  • Oversee the Oracle implementation (and related systems) to ensure real time financial visibility and streamlined business processes.
  • Identify high leverage opportunities for automation across FP&A, workforce planning, performance reporting, and operational telemetry.

Lead Monthly People & Finance Metrics Reviews

  • Run CoreAI's monthly metrics reviews to provide a consistent, fact-based view of:
    • Financial performance
    • Org health & people trends
    • Productivity & efficiency
    • Growth performance
  • Build narrative dashboards and executive ready materials that translate complex data into insights that inform business direction.
  • Ensure the leadership team has a single source of truth for progress, risks, and trend analysis.

Operate as a Cross Functional Influence Leader

  • Serve as the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Finance, HR, and Operations.
  • Influence without authority to ensure accurate data, tight processes, and aligned decision making.
  • Partner actively with the CoreAI leadership group to support strategic planning, goal setting, and operational rhythms.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 6+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experiencein Business Analytics, Strategy, BizOps, Product Analytics, or similar roles.
  • Proven experience buildingend-to-end telemetry, dashboards, and instrumentation in complex technical environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with fluency inSQL,data modeling,BI tools, and translating data into actionable narratives.
  • Ability to design and scaleoperational systems, business processes, and insight frameworks across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrated success driving large cross functional initiatives withno direct authority.
  • Experience automating analytics workflows and working closely with Finance, including system implementations (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday).
  • Exceptional communication skills-able to distill complex insights for senior executives.
  • High judgment, integrity, and the ability to operate with discretion in highly strategic, ambiguous environments.
  • Experience in AI/ML, cloud services, or largescale technical organizations.
  • Prior work building portfolio management or resource allocation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with reliability, workflow orchestration, automation, or missioncritical operations environments.
  • Background working with People Analytics, Productivity frameworks, or organizational health metrics.


Business Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.

Business Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year.
