Position Title: Press Operator
Wage: $18-$20/hour DOE Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-4:30pm Monday-Friday We're looking for a reliable Press Technician who enjoys hands-on work and helping make high-quality molded rubber parts. If you're dependable, attentive to detail, and ready to be part of a team that values solid work and steady growth, this could be a great fit for you. This is an associate to hire opportunity for a company in Shell Rock, IA. Press Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate and monitor multiple press machines at the same time - Accurately cut and scale rubber material for production runs - Load rubber into brake press machines for heating/baking - Produce make-to-order parts based on customer specifications - Use various equipment to complete tasks safely and efficiently - Maintain precise production documentation and quality checks - Ensure all products meet safety and quality standards - Work to meet production goals while adhering to timelines Press Operator Requirements: - Follow written and verbal instructions accurately - Strong attention to detail and takes pride in quality work - Work both independently and as part of a team - Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience (a plus, not required) - Reliable, dependable, and ready to contribute - Ability to stand for most of the shift - Engage in repetitive movements, including reaching, bending, lifting, and gripping - Repeatedly lift and carry items weighing 1-20 pounds - Use scissors and other tools for cutting materials QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
