Within CO+I, the Global Planning Supply Chain team is responsible for establishing a supply chain that can meet the ever-growing Microsoft Cloud for our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects and operations of those assets. We are looking to fill a critical role of Senior Director, Global Material Planning for data center infrastructure demand. This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ or Washington, DC. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location. This role is eligible for hybrid work. Responsibilities The Senior Director, Global Material Planning will drive end-to-end material planning strategy and execution across multiple regions to ensure supply continuity, optimize inventory, and enable on-time delivery for datacenter infrastructure engineered equipment. This role will lead a global team, establish planning standards, and collaborate with sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and engineering teams to support rapid scale and new product introductions. This role ensures alignment between demand forecasts, supply commitments, and inventory strategies, while enabling operational excellence and supporting organizational growth objectives. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
