Responsibilities

  • Own growth through engineering excellence and experimentation

  • Design, ship, and iterate ongrowth experimentsacross acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention

What We're Looking For

  • Software engineering fundamentals with experience building, shipping, and operatingproduction services or client applications

  • Proficiencyin designingscalable, reliable systemsthat support rapid iteration and experimentation

  • Experience writing highquality, maintainable code and owning services endtoend in a live environment

  • Ability to reason about performance, reliability, and correctness in hightraffic systems

  • Experience supporting or drivingexperimentation (A/B testing)in production environments

  • Understanding of experimentation quality, including guardrails, metricsselection, and rollout strategies

  • Engineering mindset grounded inhypothesisdriven developmentand learning through iteration



Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ yearsshippingA/B testsendtoend in production (design instrumentation analysis rollout), including improving experiment quality and guardrails

  • 4+ yearsbuilding and shippinghighavailability featuresformultiregion, globally distributed systems(resiliency, failover, capacity planning)

  • Demonstrated experienceleaning heavily on AI to accelerate engineering velocity, including using AI tools to prototype, implement, debug, and iterate on production features

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
