About the opportunity
SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Project-Level Natural Resources Project Manager in Austin, TX with experience in natural resource management, biological studies, environmental permitting, and project management. The candidate chosen to fill this position will have a broad range of skills to work with office Project Managers to support permitting efforts in the land development, federal and state, transmission, renewable power generation, oil and gas, and ecological restoration markets. This position requires the ability to work independently and coordinate with large project teams to support senior project management throughout all phases of a project's life-cycle. The ideal candidate will have experience with all phases of project development including proposal writing, initial constraints analysis, permitting, preconstruction planning, construction, and post-construction operations and maintenance as well as experience managing budgets, invoicing, maintaining project schedules, organizing field schedules, and supporting quality assurance / quality control efforts. There may be opportunities for field assistance as well, but this is not required of the position. This is a permanent, full-time position, reporting to SWCA's Natural Resource Team Lead in Austin, TX. Hybrid work environments are available. This requisition can hire at three different levels:
