GLOBAL INVESTMENT RESEARCH


From macroeconomic forecasts to individual stock analysis, our team develops tools and insights to help shape investment strategies for clients and the firm. Our analysts work on client-focused research in the equity, fixed-income, currency, and commodities markets, mining big data that enters markets around the world each day to identify game-changing insights. You'll be part of a team that is intellectually curious, creative, analytical, and passionate about performing market research.

JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking an analyst to join the Latin America Economics team in New York. Working closely with the chief LatAm economist and broader Macro team, the analyst will:



  • Analyze and interpret high-frequency economic data releases
  • Develop and maintain databases, forecasting models, and proprietary economic indicators
  • Build quantitative tools to forecast economic growth, inflation, and interest rates
  • Produce unique, thematic written research and contribute to team publications
  • Collaborate with economists and strategists across regions and asset classes
  • Work with colleagues in sales and trading and investment banking as well as external clients to answer client and colleague inquiries related to the team's economic outlook and research


QUALIFICATIONS



  • 1-3 years of experience in macroeconomic and/or market research, ideally with exposure to investment idea generation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish/Portuguese proficiency preferred
  • Strong quantitative skills with fluency in applied statistics and econometrics
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and passion for the intersection of macroeconomics and markets
  • Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $110000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
