Airport Maintainer

Bishop Airport Authority is seeking a motivated and skilled Airport Maintainer.  This position performs various airport maintenance duties to include repairs to electrical, lighting, plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems, airport equipment, and routine structural repairs to airport grounds, road, and buildings.  Typically scheduled for 8-hour shifts but must be flexible and willing to work various hours, especially during emergency and snow removal operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and must possess a valid Michigan Driver’s License.

One year of full-time experience in performing mechanical, electrical, and other semi-skilled maintenance tasks involving mechanical equipment, buildings or grounds including six (6) months’ experience operating a truck, tractor, or heavy equipment

Maintain a Commercial Driver’s License Class B preferred.

COMPENSATION:  
Set by Union Contract – Starting Hourly Wage $27.356 Per Hour.
