The cleaning person will be responsible for general cleaning of common areas including, community rooms, kitchen, rest rooms, corridors, stairwells, lobby, and public space areas. Some outdoor tasks may be required. All staff have responsibility for maintaining positive resident relations in their interactions. Key Tasks: Clean restrooms and stock them with supplies Keep buildings secure by locking doors Notify management when cleaning supplies are needed Gather and empty trash and trash bins Clean building floors and stairwells by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming them Make minor repairs in buildings, such as changing light bulbs Exterior walkway sweeping, trash removal, litter pick up Notify managers when a building needs major repairs Clean spills and other hazards with appropriate equipment Wash windows, walls, and glass doors Clean and service custodial equipment as needed Report any safety, sanitary, or fire hazards to the appropriate supervisor Qualifications
