Roles and Responsibilities:

A.Overall view of the role:

1. Interpret and apply Company and Project HSEQ policies and Management System requirements.

2. Demonstrate strong, visible safety leadership through proactive engagement and effective communication.

3. Apply a solid understanding of process safety and safe work execution practices.

4. Integrate effectively within a multidiscipline client-contractor team environment.

5. Drive efficient execution strategies that reduce safety exposure during construction and decommissioning activities.

6. Define detailed scopes of work and develop complete, accurate construction work packs.

7. Provide direction to site supervision to ensure alignment with project objectives.

8. Take full ownership of safety, cost, schedule, and construction engineering performance for the assigned scope.

9. Apply innovative, fitforpurpose solutions that prioritize safety, functionality, and cost efficiency.

B.Accountabilities/Expectations:

1. Serve as the Single Point Responsible for safe execution of the assigned work scope.

2. Understand and manage all applicable site safety rules.

3. Support the preparation, execution, and completion of the defined work scope.

4. Maintain and update discipline progresstracking systems.

5. Manage dedicated contractor resources or contribute within an integrated construction/decommissioning team.

6. Participate in safety audits focused on execution quality, permit compliance, worksite standards, and workforce competency.

7. Ensure all preparatory activities, materials, and work packs are complete and available before the planned start date.

8. Ensure the workforce and operations staff are fully briefed and supported with valid permits and risk assessments.

9. Provide accurate reporting of physical progress against scope.

10. Raise and manage technical queries related to design or operational changes; maintain the site query log.

11. Expedite materials and design deliverables as required.

12. Coordinate vendor personnel planning and mobilization.

13. Ensure efficient execution by confirming scope readiness, material availability, permit compliance, and supporting services prior to work start.

14. Participate in joint walkdowns for system handover.

15. Participate in joint walk downs of systems for handover.

Education

1. BSc. Or equivalent university degree in any of the main Engineering disciplines Mechanical equivalent or Trade qualification with relevant recent experience.

2. Holds the relevant medical and training certificates to work offshore GOM

Essential skills/experience required

1. Minimum 10 years' experience in Oil and Gas related projects

2. Minimum 5 years' experience in Oil and Gas Project Delivery as Work pack Developer / Construction Engineer in a multidiscipline workforce

3. Experience in work planning and work pack compilation

4. Strong Safety leadership and teambuilding skills

5. Supervisory experience

6. Strong influencing, interpersonal and team leadership skills.

7. Strong writing and computing skills, Fluent English language skills

Preferred Experience

1. Hook up and or De Commissioning on major offshore projects.
