Test Engineer (OTA/Wireless)

Key Responsibilities



  • Support scheduling and resource allocation to meet quality and time objectives.
  • Deliver accurate test reports within customers aspirations.
  • Maintain operational excellence and KPIs such as report lead-time, error logging, and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Teams to resolve technical and client issues on current and upcoming projects.
  • Contribute to capital equipment evaluations and new service development initiatives.
  • Uphold Quality and Accreditation standards, promptly addressing non-compliances.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and train OTA technical and administrative staff to maintain competency
  • Liaise with clients on a daily and weekly basis throughout project timescales
  • Support management on future client collaboration



Essential Criteria



  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent/experience) in Engineering or computer science
  • Minimum 3 years of successful OTA/RF testing experience.
  • Understanding in RF disciplines and antenna/RF principles.
  • Hands on experience with active and passive antenna testing
  • Ability to work on complex OTA test projects for OEM clients
  • Balanced technical judgment and commercial awareness.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Expertise in CTIA OTA Test Methodology and familiarity with CTIA working group structures, test plans, and audit requirements.
  • Knowledge of 3GPP and ETSI standards.
  • Ability to make CAPEX recommendations based on industry trends and wireless technology advancements.
  • Experience and understanding in ISO17025 laboratory quality documentation, policy and procedures, together with a knowledge of CTIA test plan technical requirements.
