Our Speech Pathology team provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients with a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders across inpatient and outpatient settings. The team currently serves adults at the inpatient level, adults and pediatrics in outpatient care, and completes videofluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS) and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES) for adults.
We are seeking a CCC SLP with outpatient experience working with both adult and pediatric populations to join our collaborative and skilled team. The SLP will evaluate and treat children with speech and language disorders, autism spectrum disorder, fluency disorders, AAC needs, and pediatric feeding, as well as adults with neurologic conditions (e.g., stroke, TBI, Parkinson's), aphasia, cognitive communication disorders, voice and motor speech disorders, and dysphagia. Opportunities to work across clinical domains are available based on clinician experience and interest. Exposure to and potential training in instrumental swallow evaluations (VFSS and/or FEES) may be available depending on departmental needs, clinician experience, and interest. Dual language clinicians are highly encouraged to apply. We seek an individual who demonstrates strong clinical skills, enthusiasm, and a collaborative team-based approach. Ongoing opportunities for professional growth and skill development exist as the department continues to expand with the hospital campus.
