As a Security Officer - Keycard Verification in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, document activity using a computer or tablet, and communicate clearly with residents, staff, and responders when needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors while carrying out security-related access control procedures and site-specific policies at a residential community location.
• Verify identification, visitor authorizations, and vehicle information as required, issue visitor passes when applicable, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, maintain access control logs, and report maintenance concerns or unusual activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and contact site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, amenities, and perimeter points as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card/license is preferred.
• Having access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
