As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, you will complete routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document observations, support site staff and visitors, and assist with access control and incident reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to campus staff, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking lots and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor identification where required, issuing visitor directions and/or credentials per site policy, and documenting entries and exits.
• Complete detailed reports on patrol activity, incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns, and escalate issues using established notification and/or dispatch procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
