The Electro-Mechanical Technician I supports the assembly, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical equipment. This role works from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions to ensure equipment and systems operate accurately and reliably. The position requires attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to follow established procedures. Job Responsibilities
Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and written or verbal instructions.
Operate related tools and test equipment to perform functional and performance testing.
Conduct tests and document results in prescribed formats.
Perform calibration and alignment checks and make adjustments, modifications, or replacements as directed.
Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions in accordance with instructions and safety guidelines.
Job Requirements
Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical systems and components.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Experience using standard tools, test equipment, and measurement devices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
