Role Description and Responsibilities As a BIOVIA Marketing Designer Intern, you will develop the storytelling visuals and format content used by sales and for campaigns. BIOVIA is science. You will work with a great team of scientists who are marketers; needing visuals and formatting of the briefs they create. Some of your responsibilities include the following: * Design and produce marketing collateral such as graphics for multiple platforms that could include: o Social media ads and visuals o Videos and video editing o White Papers / Datasheets / Case Studies o Images and graphics for BIOVIA * Work with a dynamic team that will span many different types of marketing and collaborates with the team to ensure deliverables are correct and timely. * Design and produce marketing collateral such as graphics for multiple platforms that could include: o Formatting content for all channels o Social media ads and visuals o White Papers / Datasheets / Case Studies o Visuals for trade shows o PowerPoint Presentations Qualifications * Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Master's degree * Required: Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint * Maintain the brand with layout specifications across all marketing materials ensuring style consistency * Ensure all design adheres to required brand identity requirements (we will provide) * Archiving and retrieving artwork and electronic files * Organized, detailed-oriented self-starter with the ability to create project plans and prioritize multiple demands * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Self-driven, follows instructions, good communication, motivated, fast worker, positive attitude, pride in delivering quality and quickly This is a paid internship on-site at our San Diego, CA office.
