Truck Driver

Role and Responsibilities:

• Be able to operate a tractor-trailer in a safe manner to deliver and pickup electrical equipment. This position will average approximately 2,500 miles per week.
• Physically assist with loading and unloading equipment; ensure the load being hauled is properly secured with straps, chains, etc.
• Maintain compliance with Federal DOT regulations (Log Books, etc.) as well as neat and proper completion of Solomon Corporation load documentation (Load sheets, manifests, etc.)
• Insists on safety as job number one.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Class A CDL, required
• Three years safe driving record, required
• Hazmat endorsement , required
• Experience in completing loading and unloading paperwork, preferred
• Knowledge of electrical equipment, manufacturing operations and logistics, preferred
• Requires ability for overnight travel.
