About Grand Rapids Hospital Pharmacy Technician Internships Pre-pharmacy school students may begin this longitudinal pharmacy internship experience with a pharmacy technician license until pharmacy intern license is obtained. Internship will occur at Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals (Butterworth, Blodgett, and Helen DeVos Children's Hospitals) Applicants must be accepted into a college of pharmacy with enrollment anticipated for Fall 2026 (anticipated graduation May 2030) Activities include (all sites):
Under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, formulates, prepares, and delivers medications and pharmaceutical supplies. Exercises professional judgment in the interpretation of orders. Trained in medication reconciliation duties and pharmacy technician skills. Works with multiple medication automation systems.
