Job Description




As a Security Officer - Federal Roving Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine foot patrols across stations and/or facilities, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with clear communication and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and the public by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site representatives, transit personnel, and local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of stations, platforms, fare areas, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, damaged property, or policy concerns.
  • Monitor activity through observations and available surveillance systems, assist with crowd management during peak periods and/or service disruptions, and provide directions and general assistance to patrons.
  • Complete shift documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and activity reports using Allied Universal reporting procedures, and communicate pertinent information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2+ years of security experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • CPR Certification - preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Handcuffing Certification - preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • CPR/First Aid - preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
