Security Officer - Lobby Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Lobby Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal, you will welcome visitors, manage access and badges, monitor cameras and alarms, and document security-related activity while providing clear, professional customer service. This post requires a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will support an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity in a dynamic workplace location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Operate the front desk post by monitoring access points, greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, and maintaining visitor logs according to site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
