As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover Patrol in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer. You will conduct routine rounds indoors and outdoors, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to client employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying the appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and perform access control functions such as checking identification, verifying visitor authorization, and directing foot and vehicle traffic per site procedures.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and communicate security-related information to oncoming officers and site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
