About the role:

The Senior Business Analyst, Business Transformation - Customer to Cash (CtC) reporting to the Senior. Manager, Business Transformation- Order to Invoice is a member of the Magellan Customer to Cash team.

The Senior Business Analyst will be a member of a dynamic team responsible for global transformation of the Customer to Cash processes in the next generation BSC ERP (SAP S/4 HANA). This role will support gathering global requirements, harmonizing processes and support all aspects of build, configuration and testing and migration of the End-to-End Customer to Cash process. This role focuses on end-to-end Customer-to-Cash (CtC) processes, including order management, pricing, rebates, consignment, delivery, billing, returns, and accounts receivable.

As the Business Analyst on the team you will represent the Business Users, collaborate with other Magellan workstreams, Strategic Integration vendors, BSC Business Process Leads, Subject Matter Experts, Communities of Practice and other Stakeholders across the BSC organization.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Identify the global functionality required for Key CtC process (including but not limited to Sales Order management, Pricing and Rebate processing, Billing processing, Accounts Receivables Management) within SAP S/4 while keeping an eye towards future state capabilities in other Customer to Cash initiatives.
  • Represent the business users and stakeholders to define User Requirements.
  • Translate User Requirements into User Stories that include the 'Who, What, Why' for Acceptance Criteria.
  • Coordinate with the other project workstreams, Capability owners, Strategic Integration Vendors, BSC Business Process Leads (BPLs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Communities of Practice (CoPs), IT Solution Architects/COE and stakeholders across the organization to develop a strong and deep expertise of Customer to Cash process flows.
  • Collaborate with the Change Enablement team and Site Leads/BPLs/SMEs to develop training plans and content for key functionality.
  • Be part of a dynamic team that encourages constructive feedback and open dialogue contributing to team members achieving full potential.
  • Potentially work with the data migration team and stakeholders to perform rigorous data migration activities from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA.



Required qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Science or supply chain related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience with Sales and Distribution processes or Master Data Creation/ Maintenance is required.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end processes within the customer to cash space.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis or similar roles supporting order-to-cash or customer-facing processes.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC in modules such as SD, MM, or FI-AR.
  • Solid understanding of order processing, pricing, billing, returns, and financial flows.
  • Professional in documenting requirements and supporting testing activities.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and the broader Application Ecosystem and Interfaces, combined with knowledge of key business processes is preferred.
  • A proven track record of Continuous Improvement, system upgrades/enhancements, proactive problem solving or Lean Business Process.
  • Ability to establish, communicate and engage teams in the vision & strategy of the Magellan Program.
  • Skilled in collaborating and influencing across an organization.



Preferred qualifications:



  • Experience in the medical device, or other regulated life sciences industry.
  • Technical/functional professional or operational experience with SAP Order to Cash in medical device field preferred.
  • Knowledge of processes and technology in the life sciences industry is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience of a major program introduction/upgrade, ideally within an IT/Systems or Business Representative role is highly desired.
  • Good listening and communication skills, with ability to transfer knowledge efficiently.
  • Demonstrated high degrees of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to establish credibility.
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to execution.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
  • Proactive, curious, and comfortable in a fast-paced project environment.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com-will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
