Summary of role We are seeking an exceptional, hands-on Director of IT, Data, Analytics, Information Management, Automation & AI to lead the transformation of our enterprise data and insights capabilities during a period of rapid growth and increasing digital maturity. This leader will own the strategy, architecture, delivery, operations, and cultural evolution of a team that is moving from tactical, request-driven reporting to a strategic, data-driven, AI-enabled enterprise. The ideal candidate brings a rare combination of deep technical credibility, architectural leadership, transformational change management, and inspirational people leadership. This individual is passionate about building scalable data foundations, enabling self-service analytics, accelerating business productivity through automation, and delivering real-world data, analytics and AI/GenAI solutions that change how the organization operates. This role will shape the enterprise's journey across the full data and AI maturity spectrum-from fragmented data and application-centric reporting toward standardized master data entities, a governed data marketplace, reusable data products, natural-language insights, AI/Gen AI applications and cross-functional agentic AI orchestration. This position is based in Massachusetts and requires a presence on-site (two/three) days per week, and open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. Ideal Candidate Profile This leader is equal parts architect, technologist, strategist, and people-builder. They are credible at both the keyboard and the boardroom, work the full stack from strategy to delivery to operations, are energized by complexity, and have proven and demonstratable experience to be able to deliver transformative results in a fast-moving environment. The candidate would have extensive experience in delivering transformative data, analytics, automation, AI and Gen AI journeys in a global multi-cultural enterprise with real hands-on expertise and delivery experience across key enterprise functions within pharmaceutical industries including R&D, Commercial, PDM, TechOps, Quality and G&A. The pay range for this position is between $172,000 and $287,000 annually. Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Employees in this position are eligible for a discretionary performance-based cash incentive, and depending on the level of the role may be eligible for a discretionary annual equity award. Benefits for this position include a comprehensive health benefits package that includes medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage. Other offerings include life and disability benefits, pre-tax accounts, a 401(k) with company contribution, and a variety of other benefits.
