Scope of Position:

The IT Site Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems, hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting office, remote, and production floor workers with their computer systems

  • Providing computer support services, both for software and hardware, for the organization's employees

  • Testing of computers and ensuring that computer systems are functioning properly

  • Physically setting up computers and software system installation for various computer applications and programs

  • Maintenance and upgrading of computer systems or offering recommendations on upgrades needed

  • Networking and connecting computers within the same organization to enhance communication

  • Training staff and orienting them on how to use computer hardware and software systems

  • Supports general IT Operations and services for multiple sites, including adds, moves, changes, monitoring, and reporting as assigned by the Management team

  • Maintaining other computer peripheral devices, such as printers, and solving printing problems if they arise

  • Coordination of computer maintenance with other Information Technology professionals

  • Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software

  • Participate in additional computer-related project work as assigned by the management team

  • Available to respond to site support after hours as required during outages, issues, and tasks having a business impact (occasional)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 5+ years' experience providing technical support for systems with software and hardware components

  • Must be an information technology generalist with the ability to attain a broad awareness of all technologies and their functionalities

  • Experience in troubleshooting basic network and printing problems

  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, organizational skills, and professional appearance are essential

  • Strong technical attitude and ability to quickly learn and apply technical knowledge

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multitask in an interrupt-driven environment

  • Ability to work independently without supervision

  • Strong customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IT Certifications a plus

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will performthe majority ofyour duties in an office environment.You may, at times,be requiredto be present on the manufacturing floor and will berequiredto wear theappropriate personalprotective equipment. You willbe requiredto work in the office at the Franklin, NH location (Monday - Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to remain seated/standing at a desk or workstation for extended periods.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.

  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with management, coworkers, and third parties.

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.

  • Ability to physically move around the office and occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment.
