SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to the talent acquisition team members to move applicants effectively and efficiently through the recruiting process while providing an exceptional candidate experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate key activities across the recruitment lifecycle. These may include managing referrals, job

  • postings, interview scheduling, travel arrangements, candidate disposition, and pre-employment processes.

  • Perform administrative duties such as preparing letters and documents, preparing, planning, or facilitating

  • meetings, and ensuring compliance deadlines are met

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Oracle Cloud (ORC), providing support to internal customers and

  • candidates

  • Partner with HR team members to coordinate an exceptional new hire experience; this may include sending candidates reminders for first day or helping with onboarding training.

  • Attend job fairs and participate in recruiting events as needed

  • At the direction of TA Specialists, TA Lead-Manager, or TA Director, provide ad hoc reporting, analysis, and presentation support.

  • Effectively work and build relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree Human Resources Management, or a related field preferred

  • Minimum of one year experience supporting talent acquisition or in a related HR support role

  • Exposure to one or more HR disciplines such as recruiting, benefits, training, or compensation.

  • Knowledge of recruiting processes and federal, state, and local employment laws

  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Values-centered, team player with strong communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills

  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Superior customer service skills

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, results orientated environment with strong organizational, multi-tasking abilities.

  • Tenacious problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and well organized

  • Desire to work with the sense of "ownership" and "urgency" to see all projects through to completion

The base pay range for this role is $55,400- $74,800. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
