Procore
United States, Texas, Austin
221 West 6th Street (Show on map)
Jan 31, 2026

What if you could use your design skills to develop a product that impacts the way communities' hospitals, homes, sports stadiums, and schools across the world are built? Construction impacts the lives of nearly everyone in the world and yet it's also one of the world's least digitized industries. That's why we're looking for a talented Staff Product Designer to join Procore's journey to revolutionize a historically underserved industry. This opportunity will focus on designing key experiences to support our Building Information Modeling (BIM) division. This division develops and supports the most highly used and complex tools at Procore, tools being used by the largest construction companies in the world to manage incredibly complex construction projects.

In this role, much of the work will be self-guided, but you won't be alone. You will create and maintain partnerships with your product, design, and engineering counterparts. You'll work closely with division leadership and partner with other teams across Procore.

This position will report to the Product Design Lead of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and is based in our Austin, TX office. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Design and validate new experiences via mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, and other UX artifacts for our cloud-based applications

  • Work in partnership with Product Management and Engineering to and develop and advance the product's strategy

  • Conduct generative research and usability tests with Procore users, both online and in-person at job sites around the world

  • Advocate for the user and evangelize user experience throughout the organization

  • Collaborate with other designers and product teams in your product area

  • Promote a positive culture within your product team as well as your division, and overcome challenges through endurance, grit, and persistence

  • Leverage and advocate for the patterns, content, and solutions created by our Design System, and make contributions that provide value to the department

What we're looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience designing world-class apps with a strong portfolio showcasing your research process and design work

  • Able to lead and contribute to setting strategy in undefined problem spaces.

  • Comfortable leveraging data to inform design directions that exceed product and user outcomes

  • Proficiency with Figma and experience with prototyping tools

  • Excellent communication skills with a proven track record presenting designs to cross-functional teams and evangelizing UX to the organization

  • Experience partnering with Product and Engineering to achieve impactful outcomes in an agile product development environment

  • Extreme ownership, bias to action, and know-how to succeed in ambiguity

  • Ability to design as a team, exploring and promoting new ideas, especially those that aren't your own
