Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

OVERVIEW:

Working as Digital Full-time Digital Marketing Strategist - Advertising, you will be responsible for managing and/or assisting with the growth, development and maintenance of marketing email, paid ad/search and web site initiatives. You will spend your days developing and maintaining content that aids in growing our brand. Your ability to be creative and keep up with the latest technology will be vital. In addition to executing creative content, you will also monitor analytics for our digital efforts with a focus on continuous development. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Creating, executing and managing digital content across all Fastenal Company web platforms

o Utilizing a range of techniques including building web pages, paid search, SEO, and PPC

o Presenting and maintaining our brand messaging to external audiences

o Devising strategies to grow our brand and sales

o Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns

o Assisting in execution of social media strategy for the company

o Analyzing and managing metrics and ROI related to digital efforts

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o Possess or working towards a Marketing or Business degree OR have at least 3 years of related work experience

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

o Demonstrate strong understanding of marketing concepts, strategy and social media/marketing programs

o Demonstrate a creative mindset with the ability to work on multiple projects with short lead times

o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

o Work independently as well as in a team environment

o Exhibit a desire to learn and implement new programs

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o General Web Design/Coding experience with HTML/CSS

o Knowledge of Google applications, such as Analytics, Shopping, etc.

o Knowledge of SEO/SEM strategy and implementation

FULL-TIME BENEFITS:

Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. This package includes Health, Life, Long Term Disability, and Dental Insurance, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) with an employer contribution.

COMPENSATION:

The base pay range for this position is $52,800 - 56,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
