Job Description


PCG is looking for talented students to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program at our Corporate Headquarters in Lenexa, KS! This is a full-time paid internship supporting our Strategic Development Department during the summer of 2026.


Applicants for the Summer program should be able to commit to a 10-week internship, Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm.


This role is responsible for assisting with the following:



  • Assists Talent Design Team in the design of learning and leadership development programs, determining objectives, outcomes, learning interactions, and evaluation criteria.
  • Partners with Talent Capability to learn how to integrate competency models into success profiles, career mapping, performance criteria, and competency-based interview guides.
  • Participate in data collection while building and validating success profiles and scales of contribution.
  • Contribute the Talent Delivery team, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SME), primary facilitators, and logistics staff for the delivery of leadership, competency, and functional training programs.
  • Facilitate programs in a defined learning environment to meet course objectives.
  • Support PCG's Talent Review and Calibration process collating data and engaging stakeholders.
  • Align with the SD Operations team to support the logistical requirements and events hosted in the Center for Learning and Development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Strategic Development and Marketing.


Basic Requirements



  • Must be in pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Adult Education, Instructional Design or similar during the summer of 2026
  • Must be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for ten weeks during the summer of 2026
  • Ability to multi-task and pivot to new projects, as needed
  • Willing to take initiative within a team environment
  • Maintain accountability for completion of independent work
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and/or Teams
  • Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and operate with a sense of professionalism
