Business Analyst III Position Type: Contract (1 year + ) Position Location: Houston, TX Position Pay: $65/HR - $75/HR (Depending on Experience) Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Rail Analyst with strong rail operations experience and a solid understanding of refinery operations. The ideal candidate is analytical, self-driven, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. This role will serve as a key liaison between business operations and rail/truck application systems, driving process improvements and operational efficiency. Qualifications Required Legally authorized to work in the United States Bachelor's degree in Business or related analytical discipline 5+ years of experience in oil & gas logistics or transportation, with direct rail experience 3+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Self-driven, accountable, and collaborative Preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Solid business acumen and understanding of value drivers 5+ years of SAP S/4HANA and R/3 experience, including: Vendor Billing Documents Nominations Shipment Cost Documents (R/3) Ticketing 3+ years of SAP IDoc experience Responsibilities Monitor and support SAP interfaces with Rail applications; troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues Serve as subject matter expert for Truck & Rail application systems Use analytics tools and reporting to support business decisions Lead or support cross-functional initiatives and special projects Own business process development, optimization, and sustainability for assigned Commercial functions After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
