• Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Spring Harbor Hospital is seeking a Charge Nursein ourClinical Services Unit/Float Pool. This person will be available to float to all inpatient units, ranging from Children and Adolescents of all ages.Our dynamic learning environment encourages leadership, shared governance, and opportunity to grow. Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Charge - Behavioral Health role assumes frontline leadership in the daily operations of the department and works collaboratively with departmental staff, physicians/advanced practice practitioners, hospital staff, pre-hospital providers and community agencies to provide oversight and direction for the delivery of safe patient and family centered care.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must complete within 30 days of start date. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Certification RN-BC preferred.
• Experience: Two years of relevant experience preferred, experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
