FT Day Shift - (Hours: 7a -7p) Weekend & Holidays - per the department's guidelines.

ChristianaCare is excited to announce the opening of a new Medical Observation Unit at Wilmington Hospital.

We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in a full-time day shift position from 7 AM to 7 PM. Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays in accordance with department guidelines.

Unit Information:

The 3 Medical Observation Unit (3MOU) is an 8-bed unit dedicated to the care of adult medical patients admitted under observation status. Common diagnoses include ruling out stroke, syncope, and chest pain-conditions necessitating further evaluation and testing beyond the Emergency Department.

Key details about the unit:

- Dynamic, fast-paced environment with high patient turnover.

- Average length of stay typically between 12-32 hours.

- Patients requiring inpatient care will be transitioned to the appropriate inpatient unit.

- Opportunities for cross-training on 3 West, Wilmington Hospital's 9-bed cardiac care unit, which focuses on short-stay patients with primary cardiac diagnoses.

This role offers a diverse and enriching clinical experience for team members.

  • DE RN license or Compact RN license.

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
