Position Description Duties will include but are not limited to: Assist with 3D CAD modeling Assist with preparing 2D drawings for fabrication, assembly, and installation including BOM generation Assist with CAD database maintenance Assist with performing mechanical structural analyses Assist with in-house assembly, inspection, and testing of system hardware or prototype Qualifications Required: Current college student working towards a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with 1-3 years related experience Experience with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D mechanical CAD software Strong computer skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Good organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Qualifications Desired: Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software and Mathcad Work on design competition team such as Formula SAE, Baja SAE, Robotics, or similar Required Certifications: None US Citizenship Required: No Security Clearance Required: None Employment Type: Intern Background Check Type: 7 Year Pre-Employment Drug Screen Required: None Position Contingent Upon Contract Award: No Salary Range $18.36 — $26.67 USD REAL ID Requirement This position may require the ability to access to U.S. federal facilities.
