Position Summary:

The Head of Advanced Analytics & Insights plays a key role in the development and execution of the strategy for data analytics across the Association to drive business outcomes and deliver measurable value. This role partners with executives and department leaders to provide strategic solutions leveraging advanced analytics, reporting, and AI capabilities. Exceptional communication and storytelling skills are essential to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership and the Board. The position oversees multiple sub-departments ensuring data is treated as a strategic asset to accelerate insights, automate processes, and support revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be part of leading the development and implementation of enterprise-wide analytics and AI strategies, standards, and governance.
  • Communicate complex analytics concepts clearly and effectively to all levels of management and the Board.
  • Engage cross-functional stakeholders to align analytics initiatives with business objectives and culture.
  • Offers thought leadership to direct teams in formulating practical, results-driven solutions. Utilizes data analytics to improve member engagement, refine lending strategies, and provide customized offerings.
  • Drive innovation in analytics methodologies, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous learning.
  • Partner with external vendors to integrate new data sources and advanced solutions.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to define short- and long-term roadmaps for data platforms and architecture.
  • Oversee CECL, stress testing, and scorecard model development and operations.
  • Champion responsible AI practices, ensuring fairness, transparency, and ethical use of data.
  • Drive organizational data literacy and foster a culture of evidence-based decision-making.
  • Manage budgets and resource planning for analytics initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop team members to advance organizational analytics and AI capabilities.
  • Monitor industry trends and incorporate best practices into the analytics environment.
  • Ensure analytics practices meet applicable regulatory, audit, privacy, and cybersecurity standards; lead remediation and audit readiness.
  • Lead succession planning and career development for analytics teams.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Quantitative Finance, Data Science, Analytics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics leadership roles, preferably in financial services or related industries
  • Proven track record of developing and executing enterprise analytics strategies.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
  • Experience with CECL, stress testing, and credit risk modeling.
  • Expertise in advanced analytics, AI/ML, and modern data platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with GenAI applications in business analytics.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS/ PhD in Economics, Quantitative Finance, Data Science, Analytics, or related field).
FULL-TIME REMOTE: These roles and job functions can be done remotely, while maintaining our strong commitment to customer service and our business goals. Employees are welcome to come to an office to work if needed, and some travel for team meetings will be required.

PAY RANGE:

Minimum $152,481.86 - Max $304,963.73 Annual

This range is reflective of the national salary average for this position and will be adjusted using geographic variance for physical location of the hired candidate. American AgCredit may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.

  • Reflected is the national base pay range and title offered for this job at the current level.

  • Compensation, title, and job level may be adjusted based on candidate qualifications including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.

  • Salary offered, within the applicable range, is one component of the total rewards package offered to candidates.
