Position Highlights

This is an exciting opportunity to provide administrative support to the College of Medicine's Department of Medical Imaging. This position will support the department's research faculty and assist with the day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and maintain a professional demeanor. Also, the incumbent should maintain sensitivity to confidential information and possess proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides general administrative duties including front desk coverage, triaging of phones and mail, ordering supplies for Department.
  • Provides guidance and assistance to students, faculty and administrators as needed for copies, researching and editing and exchange of information.
  • Serves as faculty support for at least four clinical faculty.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts by ensuring candidates reach their meeting destinations, confirming meetings for candidates and order required lunch for lunch meetings.
  • Assist with ensuring new clinical faculty have their white coats, badges, parking, Catcard, keys etc.
  • Assist with coordinating and ordering food for other department meetings and securing venues for meetings and other duties as assigned.
  • Submit/process travel arrangements and reimbursements and assisting with PCard processing.
