As a Security Officer Plant Patrol Driver in Sioux Falls, SD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy food and beverage production location as an unarmed Patrol Officer with driving duties. You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, docks, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and report hazards or suspicious conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and visitor authorization, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed patrol and incident reports, document unusual occurrences, and communicate status updates during shift turnovers using approved reporting systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
