The Opportunity Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University seeks a creative front-end Web Designer to join the Information Technology department in a teleworking arrangement. The Web Designer will help promote Embry-Riddle through the design, development and implementation of user-focused solutions for websites, digital signs, email templates and other digital properties. Reporting to the Director of Web Design, Experience and Optimization, the Web Designer will create user-centric, visually pleasing, responsive and accessible experiences for our website and digital properties. They will work with colleagues across the university to understand user needs, design and develop user-friendly deliverables, and collaborate with the development team to implement approved designs. The Web Designer will work with content, usability and accessibility staff to ensure designs and design components meet usability, accessibility and brand standards, as well as digital best practices. Applicants are required to submit portfolios of relevant digital projects and designs.
