Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY: The Technical Coordinator serves as key liaison for Kokosing's Support Operations Team and the various equipment/mechanical diagnostic systems. This role supports field & shop operations by providing diagnostics software administration, hardware procurement/set-up and various other office administrative tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical & System Support for Diagnostic Programs
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the equipment maintenance team members regarding various diagnostic programs, including technical issues, system usage, and access.
- Purchase and provide support for all communication adapters (i.e. JD EDL, Nexiq, VOCOM, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues and coordinate escalation when needed.
- Manage software licenses, renewals, and user access for all equipment/mechanical diagnostic programs (i.e. CAT ET, KPlus, GM EPC, Maxi PC Suite, Paccar ESA, etc.)
- Coordinate with external vendors and Kokosing's internal IT team.
- Assist team members as needed with company-wide systems including Workday, Microsoft Office, Viewpoint, etc.
Customer Service & Training
- Coordinate, schedule and conduct in-person systems training to the Support Operation's Team
- Develop and maintain training materials, job aids, and basic documentation to support usage of various diagnostic systems.
- Provide support onsite and remotely for team members on commonly used systems and diagnostic programs.
Office Administration
- Manage laptop and iPad lifecycle, including procurement, setup and repairs.
- Review monthly cost/income reports for maintenance vehicles
- Support SharePoint site management
- Assist with new hire onboarding
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Career Center/Trade School or 2 Year Degree in Automative Technologies, Diesel and Power Equipment Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering or other related field is a plus
- Other relevant experience such as working on farm equipment, maintenance and troubleshooting of complex mechanical equipment in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, military or related environment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and requests.
- Ability to travel occasionally to support field operations.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Programs, Outlook, Word, Excel, Etc.
- Strong technology aptitude and comfort learning new systems
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to work at least 8 to 10 hours/day as job dictates
- 90% of duties are performed in an office environment, 10% in shop and field environments.
- About 90% of time is spent working with a computer. 10% of the workday is spent working with management, team members and vendors.
- Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time, with walking or standing occasionally within the office setting.
- Occasional lifting of objects, typically under 20 pounds
