Manager, Workforce Planning & Performance Management Purpose: Supports the development of enterprise workforce plans, ensuring that talent supply and capability align with current and future business needs, Leads the end-to-end performance management process driving continuous improvement in processes, tools, and leader capability to foster a high-performance culture and strong career development outcomes, Key Responsibilities: Strategic Workforce Planning
- Partner with the VP, WFP & Talent Development to develop and implement workforce planning frameworks, processes, and tools that align with organizational strategy and business priorities
- Support the translation of strategic and operational plans into workforce requirements including role, skill, and capability needs
- Facilitate data-driven analysis to inform buy, build, borrow, or redeploy talent strategies across business units
- Develop workforce insights and reporting eg. headcount trends, critical skill gaps, future capability needs, to inform decision-making
- Collaborate with Finance, Strategy, and HR Business Partners to ensure integrated workforce and financial planning
- Contribute to the design and delivery of workforce scenario modeling and planning cycles
- Support the identification and development of strategic workforce initiatives, such as talent pipelines or reskilling programs
Performance Management
- Manage the end-to-end enterprise performance management cycle goal setting, year-end evaluations, calibration, development planning
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to ensure consistent application and adoption of performance management processes and standards
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance management systems, processes, and employee experience
- Evaluate and recommend technology enhancements to improve efficiency, data quality, and user experience in performance management tools
- Collaborate with Learning, Talent, and HRIS teams to align performance, development, and career planning processes
- Analyze performance data and trends to provide insights on organization capability, talent gaps, and succession readiness
- Build leader and employee capability through training, resources, and communication on effective performance conversations and development planning
Capability & Development Planning
- Translate workforce and performance insights into targeted talent development and capability-building strategies
- Support the integration of performance management outputs into learning, development, and career pathing frameworks
- Contribute to the design of development planning tools and resources to enable employees to own their growth and career progression
- Partner with Learning and Talent teams to ensure alignment between capability frameworks, succession planning, and workforce planning outcomes
Governance, Measurement & Reporting
- Maintain governance over workforce planning and performance management processes, standards, and timelines
- Track and analyze key metrics eg. workforce composition, talent movement, performance distribution, development plan completion
- Prepare executive-level dashboards, insights, and recommendations to support talent strategy and workforce decisions
- Ensure alignment with organizational policies and compliance requirements
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Master s degree in HR, Organizational Development, or Business (preferred or equivalent experience)
Certifications Preferred:
- HR certification eg. CIPD, SHRM-CP, PHR/SPHR
- Workforce planning on HR, with demonstrated depth in workforce planning, talent management, or performance management
- Experience supporting or managing enterprise performance management cycles and HR technology platforms (eg. Workday, SuccessFactors)
- Proven ability to analyze workforce data and translate insights into action,
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills in large, matrixed organizations,
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and workforce analytics tools
- Deep understanding of talent strategy, capability frameworks, and organizational effectiveness
- Ability to influence and build relationships across HR, Finance, and business leadership
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills
- Comfortable working in a data-informed, agile, and fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of performance enablement best practices and continuous improvement mindset
