Primary Purpose:
Delivers advanced data analysis and reporting solutions to address complex business challenges. Translates analytical findings into actionable recommendations and leads small-scale initiatives to enhance data-driven decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Collects, cleans, and analyzes large datasets to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Develops and maintains dashboards and reports to monitor key business metrics.
  • Identifies trends, variances, and correlations in data and provides actionable insights.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Applies advanced statistical techniques to improve forecasting and decision-making.
  • Documents enhancements to data models and recommends improvements to existing processes.
  • Leads small-scale projects or initiatives with manageable risks and resource requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:



  • Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Typically requires 5 years of related experience.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Data Analysis - Measuring and managing organization data, identifying methodological best practices and conducting statistical analyses.
  • Business Intelligence Reporting - The process of using a Business Intelligence tool to prepare and analyze data to find and share actionable insights.
  • Database Management Systems - A software package designed to define, manipulate, retrieve and manage data in a database.
  • Data Governance - Defining and implementing a set of practices and processes for managing important data across an organization.
  • Data Management - A process which includes acquiring, validating, storing, protecting, and processing required data.
  • Statistical Analysis - The collection and interpretation of data in order to uncover patterns and trends. It is a component of data analytics.
  • Quantitative Analysis - A technique that seeks to understand behavior by using mathematical and statistical modeling, measurement, and research.
  • Data Modeling - The process of analyzing and defining all the different data types your business collects and produces, as well as the relationships between those bits of data.
  • Problem Solving - A systematic approach to solving a problem.
  • Project/Program Management - The process of leading the work of a team to achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified time.
