Compensation Range H02Hourly Rate Varies by Program and Contract FLSA United States of America (Exempt)Position Type FacultyRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Dallas College seeks a part-time instructor to teach our CTE course Theatrical Rigging (DRTE 1170). Expertise in the rigging techniques for theatricalproduction and live events is required and includes the following: experience with industry best practices with counterweight systems and motorized and arena rigging, knowledge of various techniques, hardware, tools, and rigging safety for theatrical and event production, experience assessing load construction for suitability to rig, execute load calculation, and practice safe hanging and mounting procedures. Candidates should mention any teaching/training experience and certifications or licensure (e.g. ETCP certification)
