Security Officer - Office Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Office Park Patrol Driver in South Plainfield, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to guests and tenants. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disturbances, alarms, and requests for assistance.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, corridors, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Monitor entrances, loading and service areas, and parking locations; observe for unusual conditions and report concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift communications as required, and coordinate with property management and/or public responders when directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
